Apps pcalc

PCalc for iOS is 90% off for a limited time, free for Apple TV

PCalc—an Apple TV-compatible scientific calculator advertised by its developers as “The Best Calculator”—is currently only sale for iOS for $0.99 in celebration of the company’s 25th anniversary. The tvOS-optimized version is available separately for free (normally $1.99).

For the young generation (yes, the world before iPhone existed), PCalc is one of the oldest Mac utilities still available today. It was created for Apple Macinthosh long before Steve Jobs returned to Apple, and subsequent versions have been released for Mac OS Classic, OS X, iOS and tvOS.

PCalc for Apple TV offers speech support, and multiple layouts and themes, and is optimized for both the Siri Remote and MFi game controllers.

PCalc is a really good application, and the word “best” is not an overstatement. It is a well written, versatile, and highly configurable scientific calculator with support for RPN (Reverse Polish Notation), something that is rarely seen these days.

Hurry to take advantage of the sale, as the developers didn’t mention an exact end for the promotion, only that it “… is not far from now.” Learn more about PCalc at, or grab it for Apple TV from the App Store.
