Fly Infinite Jets on your Apple TV

It’s a good day when we can tell you about a newly launched game for Apple TV. It’s a better day when that game is from a company such as Atypical Games. The developers behind Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy and Sky Gamblers: Storm Raiders have just announced that Sky Gamblers: Infinite Jets is now available for iOS, and macOS and more importantly tvOS for $4.99.

“What makes these jets infinite?” you ask? Customization. Players can sit in the cockpit of their very own custom fighter jet and dogfight across massive aerial arenas above “meticulously recreated real-world cities.”

Players can polish their evasive maneuvering and targeting skills against AI in custom set games before taking off into the savagely competitive multiplayer modes, from the collaborative Team Deathmatch to dog-eat-dog PvE, which pits the player against player in massive, mano-a-mano dogfights to find out which of your friends is truly top gun.

Lone wolf pilots who prefer solo play can enjoy a single-player campaign featuring a hair-raising story of camaraderie, treachery, and triumph in the skies. Your journey will take you all over the world, from San Francisco to Rio de Janeiro to the Hoover Dam, and you’ll quickly learn that nowhere is safe: the seas are swimming with heavily armed battleships, murderous SAM (surface-to-air) missile sites lurk in the forests below, and the sky is thick with enemy fighter jets that want nothing more than to take you down.

Siri Remote pilots will have access to over 100 types of planes, countless weapons and defenses, and customizable patterns and badges, all of which come together to look like this:

We say Siri Remote pilots because the App Store entry doesn’t mention MFi support. We have a request into Atypical for compatibility confirmation and will update the article when we hear back.

In the meantime, Sky Gamblers: Infinite Jets is available now in the App Store for $4.99 (with in-app purchases). To learn more, visit www.atypicalgames.com.

I’m playing on my iPad. It’s one of the better combat games I’ve played on iOS in years. It definitely has an Ace Combat feel to it. I just love that it doesn’t have any pay-to-wait bs in it like most games today.

      REdipsd, thanks for your post.

If you have an Apple TV box, can play it on a different platform and let us know your thoughts, please do!

Agreed on the quality…Infinite Jets has become my go-to game for showing off the capabilities of Metal.
