Gladiator: Blades of Fury hits Apple TV in April
Do you like games about…gladiators?
Although the Apple TV continues to expand its gaming library, most titles tend to fall into the casual, racing or retro categories. If you’re looking for something a little more…we’ll say “aggressive,” hand on a bit longer for the tvOS release of Gladiator: Blades of Fury from YFT Studios.
Releasing April 1st, Gladiator: Blades of Fury is a melee combat action fighting game; think Mortal Kombat set during the medieval period.
Players can choose to become a barbarian, assassin, knight, or dwarf, then duke it with weapons, skills, and fighting styles unique to that clan. Tournament mode will allow players to work their way up to become the champion gladiator, while a quick-match mode provides the opportunity to sharpen skills.
Gladiator: Blades of Fury will also feature:
- Up to 20 heroes with different fighting styles (only two of which will be available in the free version)
- Seven environments in which to fight (one in the free version)
- Three difficulty levels
- Weapon combos and slow-motion moves
- English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and Dutch localization.
Gladiator: Blades of Fury will be available for Apple TV, iPhone and iPad on April 1st, 2019, and can be preordered now. The initial preorder is free, but in-app purchases will be available.
