Real Racing 3 brings “Bavarian bliss” to Apple TV
Microsoft may not have been able to make any money on Apple TV, but it’s full speed ahead with Electronics Arts. The company has just updated Real Racing 3 to celebrate German auto manufacturers Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes.
With over 400 million downloads (that includes iOS, of course), Real Racing 3 is one of the most popular racing games available for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. The game features over 200 cars to race in 18 real-world locations such as Silverstone, Hockenheimring, Le Mans, and Dubai Autodrome. Players can compete in over 4,000 events (including Cup races, eliminations, and endurance challenges) in solo or 8-player, cross-platform races.
In addition to previously available vehicles from companies such as Ford, Aston Martin, McLaren, Koenigsegg, and Pagani, this latest update adds three all-new BMW cars: the 1980 BMW M1, 2017 BMW M4 Driving Experience, and 2018 BMW M8 GTE. Players can also now earn the 2016 Mercedes AMG C63 Touring Car through a Limited-Time Series and participate in the King of the Ring special event for access to the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
In fact, EA is celebrating 70 years of Porsche by also adding the 1968 Porsche 909 Bergspyder.
Real Racing 3 is available now for free in the App Store, with in-app purchases available. The game requires a persistent Internet connection to play. For additional information, visit www.ea.com.
