What’s new for Apple TV, December 20th, 2018

If you’re looking for something nostalgic to watch, we’ve got everything from Mario to Degrassi to Bonanza with this week’s new and updated Apple TV apps roundup.

We’ve also got a Fitness Marshall, a few party games, and more…including a holiday update from our old friend, Crossy Road.

New Apple TV Apps:

  • Doopli ($2.99) – Hip hop and R&B radio that does not stop.
  • The Fitness Marshall (free) – In case you didn’t know, “The Fitness Marshall is today’s fusion of Richard Simmons and Britney Spears we all need!” Your subscription will get you access to dance workout tutorials, live stream workouts, early access to YouTube videos, early tour announcements, merchandise discounts, and more.
  • Party Games: Photo Reveal ($1.99) – Find hidden pictures by removing colored blocks.
  • Word Hunt – A TV party Game ($1.99) – Find hidden words within the letter provided. Up to six can play with their iPhones. Check our full coverage.
  • Action for Kids by WildBrain (free) – “…the funniest, most engaging kids’ shows and cartoons.” Features Mario, Sonic, Inspector Gadget, and more.
  • Degrassi (free) – It’s like having your very own Degrassi channel. Stream episodes whenever you like for free.

Updated Apple TV Apps:

  • Classic Bonanza 1960-61 ($2.99) – If the teen melodrama of Degrassi isn’t your thing, how about a ’60s family drama set in the wild west? Updated to include all 31 Public Domain episodes from seasons 1 and 2.
  • King of Thieves (free) – This unique blend of arcade, platformer, and multiplayer PVP has been updated with a new game mode. During the Winter Event, explore endless, deadly catacombs to find sweet candies and other rewards.
  • Crossy Road (free) – Yes, it’s still out there and it’s still getting updated. This time with a holiday challenge.
  • Notarikalc (free) – An easy to use Gematria calculator with on-screen Hebrew keyboard and easy access to final letters. Updated to improve security, stability, and compatibility.
