After 4 months, DirecTV now 4K Apple TV deal coming to an end
The pre-paid deal on a 32GB Apple TV 4K with three months of DirecTV Now service is nearing its end expiring in one week on March 31st, bringing to a close a more than four-month promotion combining a service with hardware.
The offer, first reported by BESTAppleTV.com last November, effectively reduces the price of the Apple TV and three months of service to $105 with the $35 a month plan. At present, Apple sells the same model alone for $180.
The original offer required a four-month prepaid subscription but was reduced to three months in February.
Higher tier-priced packages of the service are also available for $50, $60 and $70 a month with more additional channels in each bundle.
The original offer was timed to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the service’s launch and was not the first time DirecTV Now has promoted a free Apple TV. It did the same in November of 2016 when the service debuted.
DirecTV Now launched in November of 2016 using the Apple TV app with an entry-level package price of $35 per month for over 60 channels.
