Apple renews Carpool Karaoke for second season
Apple has renewed Carpool Karaoke for a second season, the producer of the show, CBS TV, announced Thursday.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series is only available as part of an Apple Music subscription at $9.99 a month and puts teams of celebrities in cars to sing along to their favorite hits.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series is based on the segments made popular by The Late Late Show With James Corden and began on Apple Music in August of 2017. The show pairs up different celebrities, musicians, athletes, putting them together in a car to sing popular songs.
In season one, featured celebrity pairings including Will Smith and James Corden, John Legend, Shaquille O’Neal and Lebron James, to name a few.
It is not yet clear when the second season might debut. CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73 produce the series, with Corden, Ben Winston, and Eric Pankowski serving as executive producers.
