Apple TV dashboard app DayView gets HomeKit support update
Developer Punya Chatterjee has been busy working on his on-going, info-at-a-glance tvOS app DayView, releasing Wednesday a major update with various new features including HomeKit widget support.
Version 1.2 now supports HomeKit widgets, including Scenes, Accessories, and Camera. Accessories are limited to powering them off and on and triggering scenes. The camera widget supports multiple HomeKit-ready cameras.

Additional new features include customized dashboard wallpaper, dashboard panels that automatically refresh, full iCloud and Apple calendar support, and a functional Commute widget using Apple Maps with multiple transportation options.
Chatterjee has added a DayView Pro option letting users add premium features such as the ability to run multiple widgets for news and weather and the ability to use photos from an iCloud library as dashboard wallpaper. The pro version is an in-app purchase for a one-time charge off $2.99.
The new Pro version of DayView adds multiple widget and custom wallpaper support for $2.99.
