AT&T offers major discount and best deal on 4th-gen Apple TV for $100

AT&T is now offering the fourth-generation Apple TV 64GB model for $99.50, including shipping, making it the best online offer currently available on new units.

The deal is $80 less than the retail price from the actual people who make the Apple TV and $41 off Apple’s comparable refurbished model.

The Apple TV fourth-generation model, first released in 2015 and still sold as new, looks practically identical to the Apple TV 4K model, but there are major differences in connectivity and capability.

The fourth-generation model has a dual-core Apple A8 processor and 2 GB of RAM, is limited to support for 1080p video, is offered with either 32 GB or 64 GB of internal flash memory storage, has an HDMI 1.4 port, a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port, and a USB-C port, 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO capability and Bluetooth 4.0 support.

The 4K model has a faster three core Apple A10X Fusion processor and 3 GB of RAM, is offered with either 32 GB or 64 GB of internal flash memory storage, has the hardware to support 4K (2160p) as well as HDR video, loses the USB-C port entirely, has a more capable HDMI 2.0a port, a faster Gigabit Ethernet port, better wireless capability with simultaneous dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0.
