FuboTV 60fps support now at 41 channels

Like an Olympic track and field sprint, streaming networks available on Apple TV are competing in two never-ending battles to grab customer attention…who can get the most local networks affiliates and who can add the most channels supporting 60 frames per second video. In reality, the competition isn’t a sprint, but more like a marathon.

Frame rate expressed in frames per second, or fps, is the rate at which consecutive images, called frames, are refreshed on a display. At 60 fps, the refresh rate takes advantage of technology in newer televisions that read faster frames rates making images – like sports – smoother and less jagged.

If there’s one network that wants to offer as much content in 60 fps it’s the sports-focused streaming service FuboTV. Available on Apple TV as an app through the App Store streaming more than 70 live channels, FuboTV has recently updated its support for 60fps on a number of channels and plans to add more in the near future.
