fuboTV brings six new CBS and FOX locals to area subscribers
If you’re looking to cancel your cable/satellite subscription and have been considering fuboTV for sports streaming, you may now have some extra incentive get started. On the heels of their announcement that 41 of their available channels now support 60fps, fuboTV has added six new local CBS & FOX affiliates, bringing the total number to 239.
Cord Cutter News reported yesterday that KCOY serving San Luis Obispo / Santa Barbara / San Marcos, CA, and KION serving Monterey / Salinas, CA, have been added to their list of CBS affiliates. The new FOX affiliates are WDKY in Lexington, KY, WSBT in South Bend, IN, WSMH in Flint, MI, and WVAH serving Charleston / Huntington, WV. This brings their total CBS coverage to 67% of U.S. households, while FOX coverage weighs in at an impressive 84% of U.S. households.
More locals will be added in the coming weeks and months, and you can head over to Cord Cutter News to see if your location is already covered.
fuboTV separates itself from other streaming services by focusing on sports programming, offering channels such as beIN Sports, Big Ten Network, Olympic Channel and Eleven Sports in their $44.99/month package. From there, add-on packages with channels as diverse as NFL Red Zone, ChelseaTV, Fight Network and GOLTV are available at prices ranging from $4.99 to $14.99 a month.
Of course, plenty of non-sports channels are available as well. To learn more about fuboTV and check out their full lineup, visit www.fubo.tv. The fuboTV: Watch Live Sports app is available in the App Store, and a free 7-day trial is available.
