Get HBO for just $4.99 a month with Hulu
If HBO is an important factor in your cord-cutting, streaming media service decision, it’s time to take a close look at Hulu. Through their Hulu: Watch TV Shows & Movies app, Apple TV users can add HBO to their Hulu With Live TV subscription for an additional $4.99 through July 30, 2018. The special pricing is available to new Hulu subscribers and to current subscribers who haven’t already added HBO.
Those looking to try out Hulu at its basic tiers will get their first month for free. After that, subscriptions run for $7.99/month with limited commercials or $11.99 with no commercials. Both of those plans, however, only cover Hulu’s streaming services. The Live TV plan you’ll need to take advantage of the HBO offer starts at $39.99/month, with only the first week free.
Per the App Store description, Hulu With Live TV includes:
… the entire Hulu streaming library, plus over 50 top Live and On Demand channels, including FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, FX, NBCSN, FS1, History Channel and TNT. Plus, enjoy national news with local feeds available in select cities, popular kids shows and can’t-miss events.
The Hulu website allows you to view all of the live TV channels available in your area. Cinemax and Showtime are also available as premium add-ons but aren’t part of this special pricing offer.
