HBO, Cinemax free preview on Sling TV through Monday
The live and on-demand streaming service Sling TV is offering subscribers free access to HBO and Cinemax now through Monday, November 10th, in an effort to lure subscribers to the premium movie channels.
The offer includes a preview of on-demand content of both channels, BESTAppleTV.com has confirmed, with access to past episodes of The Sopranos, Veep, Sex and the City and Silicon Valley, to name a few.
In addition, Sling TV continues to offer a free, seven-day trial that would give interested subscribers access to the free HBO/Cinemax preview.
Sling TV is offering subscribers free access to HBO and Cinemax now through November 10th, including access to on-demand content.
HBO costs an additional $15 a month as Cinemax is $10 more a month on Sling TV. Those costs are over and above the standard Sling Orange and Sling Blue packages of live programming channels.
Many cable and satellite services are also offering the HBO/Cinemax preview this weekend as well, giving more credence to the trend that certain premium services are offering free previews on streaming services at the same time as their cable and satellite counterparts.
