Save 40% off your first three months of Sling TV

Sling TV has launched a promotion for new customers, making one of the better streaming services even better. By taking advantage of the “Special Tax Offer,” customers trying out Sling TV for the first time will get 40% off for the first three months.

As part of the deal, the Sling Orange and Sling Blue packages will be $15/month, while a subscription to both services will cost $25/month. After the special pricing period is over, the services will return to $20, $20 and $40/month, respectively.

Sling offers numerous “extra” packages and a la carte channels to supplement their main subscription service, including comedy, sports, and news packages, as well as premiums such as Showtime and Starz. These can still be added to the discounted subscriptions but at their normal rates. Your three-month discount begins the moment you activate service, and fees will automatically revert to their normal prices once the introductory period ends.

This is actually a pretty nice gesture from Sling during tax season, and it’s worth noting that the specials were announced a day after Hulu With Live TV raised their rates. Sling TV has been available on Apple TV since June of 2016, and the app is currently available for free in the App Store.
