SiriusXM releases streaming radio app for Apple TV users

Satellite radio subscription service SiriusXM announced Thursday that its 200-plus audio channels are now available on Apple TV 4K and fourth-generation Apple TV through the just-released SiriusXM app.

Among the channels available include artist-branded music channels from The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Garth Brooks, and Tom Petty to name a few, as well as news and talk channels from CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and ESPN.

The app features a resumption feature from where users can pick up programming where they left off when listening previously on the SiriusXM app on Apple TV or other devices.

Sirius XM is currently offering a six-month subscription to the service for $30, savings of 68 percent off the normal monthly rate of $15.99.
