Sling TV adds vintage Film Detective channel and 3,000 on-demand titles

Looking for some vintage TV like Attack of the Giant Leeches or Kansas City Confidential to break the cycle of modern entertainment? Then Sling TVs addition of The Film Detective live streaming channel and its on-demand library might be what you’re looking for.

Sling TV now has over 60,000 on-demand movies and TV shows with the addition of the vintage library that joined the streaming service on Thursday. The Film Detective offers some 3,000 titles of its own housing classic feature films as well as many cult movie classics and hundreds of hours of classic TV from the 1950s and 60s.

The archive includes classic westerns, horror, mystery, family, martial arts, film noir, religious programming, cult classics, silents, classic cartoons, shorts, documentaries, and many rare and seldom seen lost classics.

The channel is available now in the Hollywood Extra add-on for $5 per month for Sling Orange and/or Sling Blue subscribers.

The Sling TV app is available for download from the Apple TV App Store. The service has been available on Apple TV since June of 2016.
